Marc is an accredited leadership coach who was formerly a partner and group head at Simmons & Simmons and Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman) where he was a leading practitioner (Tier 1 and Hall of Fame, The Legal 500) and an experienced leader.
Marc draws upon, and offers clients the benefits of, having worked for over 25 years in these two leading global law firms, where he also mentored and coached lawyers in London and abroad. Marc subsequently trained at Meyler Campbell and works with leaders in many sectors, but particularly with lawyers, on business performance and leadership development.
Typical challenges include working under extreme pressure, client and business development, career progression and transitions (stepping up, stepping down and retirement), team dynamics and relationships, organisational change, and leadership style (influence and impact). Whilst the context of Marc’s coaching is always business performance, it is rarely limited to business issues alone given that high performance environments inevitably lead to competing professional and personal priorities.
Marc is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) at Senior Practitioner level.
