The Sherwood team works with individuals, teams and organisations to help them work better. We and our clients think of “better” in the widest sense – more effectively and efficiently, more profitably and with regard for people’s wellbeing, purpose and enjoyment.
Those individuals and organisations are in a variety of sectors – legal and other professional services, financial services and other corporate businesses, education and not-for-profit.
Much of our contribution is through individual coaching. We develop an understanding of and a relationship with both the business and the individual. Sherwood also offers consultancy, coaching supervision, learning and development, and team facilitation and development to help organisations tackle problems or exploit opportunities.
We also have specialist expertise in helping candidates applying for a judicial appointment or to become King’s Counsel.
The origins of Sherwood were in 1999 in Nottingham – hence Sherwood! The founder members were brought together to form the faculty at Nottingham Law School to design and deliver the first MBA programme specifically for lawyers. Since then, the momentum has been towards coaching and broadening into other business sectors.
